Senior Robotics Actuator Designer (offline)

Qualifications:
- Experienced in actuator design (strain-wave gears, BLDC, motor controller, sensors, interaction of these components)
- A profound understanding of actuator topologies (series elastic vs. stiff, compliant vs. non-compliant actuators, etc.)
- Solid CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred)
- Basic knowledge of machining techniques
- Experienced in the product development process (certification matters, BoM definition, …)
- Experienced with DesignForReliability, DesignForCost, DesignForManufacturability
- Subtle communication skills in English (contact with our clients)
- Very self-contained working styleAdequate social skills for building Eastern-European supplier network
- Experience with medical devices would be a plus
