Middle/Senior Machine Learning Engineer for Flixbus (Middle/Senior) (offline)

Your profile – Ready to hop on board

— At least 3 years of experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer
— Experience using R, Python and SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
— Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.)
— In-depth knowledge of statistics, algorithms and mathematics
— Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau or any other similar tool)
— Hands-on experience in applying machine learning algorithms and libraries to models
— Able to apply software engineering best practices to analytics code (ex: version control, testing, continuous integration)
— Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment
— Able to work with ETLT Framework (extract, format transformation, load, referential transformation)
— Great communication and collaboration skills
— Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
— English level: Upper — intermediate

Your tasks – Paint the world green

— Provide clean, transformed data ready for analysis
— Develop data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
— Build software tools that help data scientists and analysts work more efficiently (e.g., writing an internal R or Python tooling package for analysts to use)
— Train and support business users on how to use data visualization tools
— Coach data analysts and scientists on software engineering best practices (e.g., building testing suites and CI pipelines)
— Maintain data documentation and definitions
