QA Automation Engineer (offline)

Work on SQL query engine for Big Data exploration, designed from the ground up to suрport high-performance analysis on the semi-structured and rapidly evolving data oсoming from modern Big Data applications, while still providing the familiarity and ecosystem of ANSI SQL

Requirements:

3+ experience in QA
Linux system advanced user (working in CLI)
Experience in backend and API testing
SQL basic knowledge and higher (should be able to write queries)
Java knowledge QA methodologies: Functional types: Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Unit Testing
QA Documentation hands-on experience
Good communication skills in English (verbal, written)
Self-motivated, independent, and high-performance Individual. Passionate about learning new technologies

Would be a plus:

Working knowledge of Hadoop and components (Hive, Hbase, etc)
Familiar with sеcurity technologies Kerberos and SSL
Shell scripting
Git, Jenkins, Maven

Responsibilities:

Test cases creation, execution, and automation
Preparing and working with Test Documentation
Reproducing and verification of bugs reported by the clients
Work with Dev/QA team through the entire lifecycle of product releases
