Java Full Stack Developer (offline)

Client: Systematic is an international software supplier and systems integrator of mission-critical systems with core competencies within complex management information systems, integration of different IT-systems, structured data exchange, and project management. Our main domains lie within the realms of Healthcare and Defence.

Project description:
It will be a set of projects/products, some of them would be heavy Java back-end solutions, some of them could have some user interface developed in Angular.
The aim is to build a stable team who will be working as a unit moving from one product to another. The team in Lviv will consist of 4 people.

Current department size ~ 60 people, expected to be grown to 80 next year (Denmark and Ukraine).

List of technologies:
The infrastructure will be built as a modern Java-based solution, using the latest technologies within microservices, public cloud, Docker containers, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, RancherOS, etc.

Quality system:
Quality is controlled through an in-house process called Feature Driven Development, where it is an integral part of the entire value chain.

General requirements:
A web-focused developer with skills in client-server development, who wants to be part of an agile development team that works with everything from customer requirements, design, implementation, test and deployment. Able to clarify requirements, interact and operate with product ownership.

Must have:
• Experience in Java
• Front-end experience with JavaScript, Angular

The first project – summary:
MedTrace is a company, that creates and develops medical devices and the corresponding software.
They have a blood-flow monitor, where they have asked Systematic for help on implementing the existing demo version from scratch.
The implementation will be 5-6 modules to support the existing interface, ensuring that the device and software will be able to be approved and certified.

The technology:
Doing Java development and deploying in Docker containers using Kubernetes, Git, TeamCity for development, Jenkins for deployment and Jira and WinCVS for tracking task progress and documentation.

The set-up:
Based on the Systematic developed Synergy platform, the application will be a stand alone application using and enabling the Synergy functionality in order to display services and APIs for the MedTrace aQuant application.
