Junior DevOps Engineer (offline)

Now we are in the middle of DevOps transformation for the whole infrastructure, and we need a person who is ready to dive into the process and do this together with us.

You will be a part of a dynamic team and will be expected to learn and grow while working together with us. This is a great opportunity to gain work experience with different technologies and methodologies as well as help project teams getting things done.

PROJECT
One of the projects we work on is the time tracking system helping the company employees report their working hours. The project is of high importance for the company internal infrastructure.

The system is a complex solution based on Java stack and integrated with numerous third-party services. Another project we deal with is the Sigma Software website.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with development teams, ensure that all operations and projects are properly documented, work with ticketing systems and issue trackers, version control systems
- CD/CI pipelines maintenance, integration, and improvements
- Develop process automation i.e. build validations, tests run, notification systems
- Ensure that best security practices are followed, sensitive data and traffic encryption, environments isolation, permissions management, and security audit
- Deploy and support metrics, logging, and notification systems
- Troubleshoot production system and network issues related to performance and functionality

REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of Cloud providers (AWS, DO, GCE)
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Server will be a big plus
- 1+ years of working experience with Linux and Windows systems
- Understanding of Docker concepts and Docker/docker-compose usage
- Experience with Infrastructure as code approach and automation systems (e.g. Ansible/Terraform)
- Familiarity with git
- Ability to write code in any language is a plus
- Experience with metric/monitoring systems (e.g. Zabbix)
- Being Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence) user
- Intermediate level of English

WOULD BE A PLUS:
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Server
- Ability to write code in any language
