Senior Business Analyst (offline)

Responsibilities:
Role description

Business/System Analyst is a person who translates requirements (supply chain domain) to development Team/Testing Team, clarifies mappings and underlying business logic, acts as a Proxy Product Owner, documents requirements, supports development and testing activities, has proactive attitude in technical documentation preparation, reviews test data/cases/results.

data mappings
solution/transition requirements
impact assessments
project risks/assumptions/open items tracking
maintained JIRA project/sprint backlog
feasibility analysis
Mandatory Skills:
Must have hard skills:
- SDLC methodologies: scrum, kanban
- Business analysis: requirements management, evaluation; interface analysis; data mapping; gap analysis; backlog maintenance; estimation, elicitation techniques
- Diagramming: UML, BPMN
- ETL, integrations, web-services, messaging (Apache Kafka)
- JSON, XML
- Test cases review, tracing to requirements
- Data warehousing
- Troubleshooting, SIT/UAT/rollout support
- Experienced with JIRA, Confuence

Must have soft skills:
- Advanced level of English (written, verbal)
- Client facing
- Coordination of distributed teams
- Ability to travel abroad

- Team player with good interpersonal/communication capabilities;
- Level of mastering English language: upper-intermediate or above (both spoken and written);
- Quick learner, ability to get fast into foreign code and architecture, reverse engineering experience;
- Readiness for business trips to USA (Seattle) for 2-4 weeks several times per year
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Nice to have hard skills:
Scripting, programming, querying: SQL, JAVA, SCALA, JSONPATH
Data/interface modeling
Git
Code reverse engineering (preferably JAVA)
k8s, docker, terraform
- nice to have core skills:
Supply Chain domain knowledge or similar experience
