Required skills

— Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Degree, or equivalent professional experience
— 3+ years of Business Analysis related experience (Product Owner / Functional Analyst / Business Analyst / System Analyst / Project Manager / Product Manager)
— 1+ years of proven experience in Web
— 1+ years of experience in Agile development
— Strong analytical skills to make a critical assessment of the information from numerous sources
— Systems thinking and functional decomposition skills
— Curiosity about the new tendencies in Product Ownership and Business analysis
— Working knowledge of data and process modeling (UML, BPMN etc.)
— Setting clear goals and priorities. Time-management, ability to handle multi-tasking activities. Quick learning
— High flexibility. Ability to modify approach as per changing conditions, circumstances and feedback
— Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to convey ideas effectively to both IT and business audiences
— Adept at handling adversity, tactful in conversations with executive leadership and operational leads alike
— Strong teamwork, business acumen, and customer advocacy skills
— Strong presentation, leadership, business influence, and project management skills
— Creating visual analysis models like data flows, process flows, data modeling and others as applicable
— Knowledge of prototyping tools and mock ups creation
— Knowledge of requirements management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
— Strong English verbal and written communication skills

As a plus

— Understanding and experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE)

Responsibilities

— Continuously Educate Product Owners on the selected area
— Prepare specialization related document such as Best Practices, Roadmap, etc
— Analyze the existing systems and highlight areas of improvement
— Perform the Team Investigation and a Gap Analysis together with the Solution Recommendation
— Take a part in the Product Owners Knowledge Assessment
— Work in one Team with other Functional Analysts in order to address a complex recommendation
— Be ready to help Delivery Manager / Head of Product Owners with the Product Owner assessment as well as improvements recommendation
— Enhance opportunities by identifying new software/service to be developed
— Analyze and decompose complex requirements
— Fulfill the role of a subject matter expert in requirement cycle including specific area of specialization
— Oversee the development of the product as per the specifications

Project description

The product represents a full-stack web-hosting services provisioning system. Current tasks include support of legacy system components and 3rd party integrations, along with the implementation of new features within the current architecture. At the same time, almost all legacy system components are being replaced by a new-generation product platform into which a new microservice-based web-hosting service provisioning system will be integrated. The new web-hosting service provisioning system consists of new product pages & shopping cart integration, new server provisioning & billing system integration, as well as deep integration and interaction with other Namecheap products.
