Solution Data Engineer (offline)

We are a data-driven Tech Start-Up based in Munich and Hanover. As a cross-functional team of engineers, consultants, analysts and project managers, we build the data platform around the ideas of Data Control and Privacy by Design.
Our clients use our platform and services to collect their customers’ data from online and offline sources and integrate them into one unified graph.
With that, applications become smarter and more customer centred.

To extend our Client Success team in Ukraine, we are looking for a Solution Engineer Data who loves to speak to Engineers and helps our clients to become truly data-driven.

Your role
Collaborate with our Data Analytics Consultants to translate business objectives into data solutions comprised of collection, transformation, curation and visualization
Support our customers’ software engineering teams across the technology stack to adopt our platform by building integrations, running training sessions or implementing the full solution
Align and shape data models and provide documentation about their semantics
Implement, control, and troubleshoot analytics pipelines on our data platform Granary
Provide reports and set-up dashboards according to the needs of business users
Help our product team to improve the platform with valuable first-hand feedback

Your profile
Apprenticeship or degree in Business Informatics, Software Engineering or equivalent field
2+ years of work experience in a professional software engineering environment
Programming experience, e.g. in Python, Java (Spring / Quarkus) or JavaScript
Sound understanding of web technologies (e.g. RESTful webservices) and SQL
Ideally experience in commonly-used web and mobile tracking solutions such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and Snowplow Analytics as well as exposure to cloud-based Data Warehousing solutions like BigQuery or Redshift
Ability to work with remote agile teams
Highly proficient in spoken and written English
