System administrator/ site reliability engineer (offline)

Our Site reliability team is responsible for supporting multiple products and development teams in automating infrastructure, build pipelines, deployment, and production support.

We are looking for a System administrator/ site reliability engineer to join the 24/7 team that is supporting B2B customer. The client is a global corporation with offices and clients all over the world. The customer provides software and hardware solutions for design and packaging for top tier corporations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Maintaining mission-critical day-to-day operations of the production processing platform and internal company resources including but not limited to:
Windows and Linux servers;
MS SQL backups and Maintenance;
Powershell, T-SQL scripting;
IIS, Apache and Tomcat;
Application code deployment to Dev, Staging, Production environments;
Knowledge of Active Directory and DNS servers;
Backup and Monitoring Servers;
General network administration and troubleshooting;
System administration automation, scripting and documentation;
System, Application and Network monitoring;
Occasional after-hours maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems;
Knowledge of MS SQL;
Scripting skills with Powershell, T-SQL;
Experience dealing with high uptime environments;
Knowledge of patching Windows operating systems;
English — Intermediate or better;

2-year degree in Information Technology or a similar field preferred but not required.

Probation period 2 months
