Our client has been providing user-friendly, intuitive oil and gas software that accelerates answers to critical questions impacting daily productivity and overall success. More than 500 oil and gas companies rely on that product for its software solutions and expert support.
We are looking for a Developer who has strong communicational skills and willing to learn a lot of new domain knowledge as well as get experience in communication with end users. Candidate will work in Professional Services org, where he’ll be able to use both development and client interaction skills.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Person who is willing to work for a Professional Services Organization (10% of development work, 70% of non-development work (debugging, investigations, environment configuration, product installations, unit testing, documentation), 20% of communication (with Client and Customers));
Person who is ready for a long-term assignment (1y+);
Initiative, open minded and easy-going person with nice time management skills;
Good team player and oriented to details person;
Client-centric person who is not afraid to talk to end users and understand their needs;
Can easily switch between development and non-development (like documentation or investigating) tasks;
Have at least one year of C# (must);
Have C++ and HTML Experience;
Have strong English communication skills (must) (intermediate+ level);
Experienced in .NET Framework (.NET Standard, .NET 4.64.8);
Experienced in .NET WebAPI (huge plus);
Proficient in SQL (must);
Familiar with issue management software, such as Azure DevOps (will be a plus, but not mandatory);
Willing to learn something new and get experience in new domain;
Ready to work on supportive project where main goal is to troubleshoot, find the root cause and suggest effective solution.

Write unit tests, debug existing issues and fix them in the most appropriate way.
