Technical Project Manager/Team Lead (offline)

This is TECHNICAL position - You MUST HAVE own coding experience , able lead teams in 3 countries and fluent English.

The service will provide both web-based interfaces and mobile applications for end users. We need a talented Technical Project Manager to join our development teams in Kyiv or in Lviv office, who is ready to fit on Full time basis.

As the team lead/technical project manager you will be responsible for supporting and managing the execution of complex projects using MicroServices Architectural Design Plan and through the overall project delivery process, including project planning, scheduling, costing, execution, and risk management. You will need to actually code including delivering some modules within the MicroService Plan and not just be a communicative Team Lead/Project Manager. This role interfaces with internal and external resource providers across Technology, Digital, Data, Business and Security to deliver plans which you create.

Responsibilities

• You will be expected to code and work independently, prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment, adapt quickly to change and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Show leadership skills and have the ability to lead team in design and development efforts. Strong analysis and interpersonal skills is a necessity.

• Develop the best practices to help the team achieve their technical tasks and continually thrive in improving the technology of the product/team/platform.

• Driving the adoption of best practices and regular participation in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions.

• Support the delivery of MicroServices Architectural Design solutions by being able to assist programmers in their tasks.

• Lead complex design sessions, work closely with customer and business partners to establish requirements in order to develop a given solution.

• Make key decisions, include determining the most appropriate platform to complete application development requests and code quality assurance for the team.

• Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled plan/project

• Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones

• Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding the plan/projects

• Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company

• Support the business through the successful delivery and launch of the products & platform. Scaling up work quickly, in line with the established target operating model.

• Manage internal and external resources within the scope of the project & Identify necessary management structures for projects and ensure all key stakeholders are informed and involved.

• Track and monitor project progress and budgets, escalate issues and forecast internal resource capacity. Continually identify, prioritise and mitigate project risks and issues.

• Liaise with management to execute project deliverables, ensuring execution is in accordance with the methodologies and meets business requirements.

• Deliver complete regular project reporting and change order request processes.

What we need
• A minimum of 5 years experience in software development in PHP

• Two years experience in PHP / Laravel development

• Should have a relevant Degree plus at least three years of senior
experience in similar role.

• A solid knowledge of Database query optimization

• Provable experience building complex business logic

• A solid grounding in RESTful interfaces

• Experience in data scraping / extraction / migration

• Knowledge of API integration, modules

• Experience with Atlassian stack (Jira, Git, Confluence)

• Strong knowledge of TDD (Test-driven development)

• Must have practical experience of CI / CD

• Good problem solving abilities

• Experience communicating results of technical analyses with non-technical partners and leadership teams to influence the strategy of those teams

• Experience in MicroServices Architectural Design and in the following programming languages and frameworks will be most advantageous: PHP Laravel/Symfony/Lumen, Python

• Demonstrable knowledge of and proficiency with the PHP programming language and PHP-MYSQL integration gained through years of work experience

• Demonstrable knowledge of PHP Laravel programming framework gained through completion of at least one project performed through work experience

• Demonstrable knowledge of and proficiency with Amazon Web Services, including the use of SNS, SQS, Lambda, EC2, Amazon Linux, Amazon Linux 2, PHP 7.2, Aurora, and Apache 2.4 gained through years of work experience

• Should have a rich experience in analysis, design, development, product building, team building and management, maintenance and support of application with experience in Web Applications Development, Team Handling, Operations, Project Management and People management.

• Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior members of the team and have been Involved in various type of web projects as a PHP developer

• Oversee multiple projects across all phases of development with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

• Experience working within micro-services will be an advantage. Experience in delivering a variety of IT projects e.g. Software, Data or Digital (including Mobile Applications, Web based or Cloud).

• A proven track record of successfully implementing web development projects and native mobile applications (iOS, Android)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable with a fast-paced startup environment, so you must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented and a self-starter. You’ll need to be flexible & sharp
