Network Engineer (offline)
This is a full-time, remote, and long-term position.
You will be responsible for:
- Work with multiple internal teams to improve network security levels within the corporate infrastructure, including corporate data centers and multiple public clouds;
- Identifying, monitoring, and defining requirements of the overall security of the corporate network;
- Design, implement, and support scalable network solutions to address a variety of business challenges;
- Drive consistent improvement by refining tooling, automation, and documentation;
- Provision and troubleshoot carrier transport and IP transit circuits;
- Configure and administer network monitoring tools;
- Configure and administer routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless infrastructure in the multi-vendor environment;
- Troubleshoot network failures and performance issues;
- Sites management (assets management);
- Public/Private Clouds networking configuration and optimization (AWS, Azure, VMWare).
Your Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience working on a cloud platform (AWS, Azure);
- Experience with VMWare networking;
- Strong Networking understanding;
- Installation, configuration and strong technical troubleshooting of various hardware and software;
- Use Infrastructure as Code approach (Terraform, Ansible);
- Familiar / have experience with Cloud Native fabrics with services like Megaport, PacketFabric, Pureport, etc.;
- Familiar with Hashicorp’s Consul with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud architecture.
Nice to have:
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP certificate (or the equivalent knowledge level);
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Speciality (or/and the equivalent in Azure).
