WordPress developer (offline)

Looking for junior - middle WordPress developer (remote work)

Required skills:

- Good knowledge of HTML/CSS/LESS/SASS, familiar with frameworks like Bootstrap
- Comfortable with basic jQuery and native JavaScript
- Able to debug PHP, comfortable with actions, hooks, filters, variables and a wide range of codex functions
- Able to backup/restore tables and SQL databases
- Good knowledge of GitHub
- Able to perform basic 3rd party API integrations
- Able to resolve advanced cross browser/platform inconsistencies
- SSL install on WPEngine or similar managed hosting, error log debugging
- Confident with responsive techniques
- Able to set up and maintain basic environment, be able to use JavaScript task runners
- Confident using Photoshop and Illustrator

WordPress skills:

- API/codex knowledge
- Able to generate advanced custom post types
- Ability to integrate 3rd party custom post meta libraries or plugins to achieve template customization
- Able to create shortcodes with simple arguments
- Able to create new templates from scratch
- Able to create advanced child themes or from-scratch themes that match designs to pixel perfection
- Advanced configuration of standard plugins, basic debugging, familiarity with basic configuration of more advanced plugins
- Strong WooCommerce experience

As a plus:
- Intermediate level of written and reading English
- You must be able to meet deadlines and have a solid work ethic
