Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Systems Administrator with automation skills or a DevOps
Engineer to join our Infrastructure team and help support our high load, fast growing SaaS platform. As part of the team you will work closely with our Lead Engineer and help to keep our systems running smoothly, implement new features and expand our automation efforts.

Required Skills
● Extensive experience in Linux/Unix system administration
● Experience with high load/high-performance production systems, their maintenance, and optimization
● A solid understanding of Unix fundamentals and tools
● Strong knowledge of supporting production web servers, including performance tuning and high-availability solutions
● A good understanding of network technologies & services such as DNS, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP
● Experience with system automation tools, such as Ansible or Puppet
● Knowledge of databases - MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra. Experience with ELK stack
● Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer
● Knowledge of web services, API, and IP based protocols
● Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PHP or Shell (experience with Golang is a plus)
● Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems
● Experience with deployment tools (Jenkins, Ansible, etc.)
● Experience working with Docker
● Experience of container Orchestration Engines such as Kubernetes or Nomad
● Strong knowledge creating configuration, build, and test scripts for CI environments
● Good time management skills
● Good interpersonal skills
● Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, experience with monitoring systems such as Grafana, Zabbix
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to think critically
