Big Data Engineer (offline)

Diatom Enterprises is a Latvia based custom outsource software development company producing software for a wide variety of industries.

We are looking for a Big Data Engineer to be a part of our Software Development team.

Requirements:

• Sound knowledge of SQL
• Experience with visualisation tools such as Qlikview, Qliksense, Sisense or Tableau
• Applied understanding of source control methodologies (Git, SVN)
• Applied understanding of CI\CD
• Has experience with dockerised applications
• Used distributed version control systems
Good to have:
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Have worked with both Linux and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of languages such as Python, Java, Javascript (D3), Unix/Linux
