Intermediate/Senior Test Engineer Automation (offline)

We invite a proactive Test Engineer Automation to join our team of 25+ professionals who have been working on creating a data ecosystem for financial instruments.

Our client is a US-based financial startup. Together, we are developing an innovative business platform for capital market professionals. The goal of the product is to document and distribute financial instruments on a more standardized basis. We use Blockchain to connect notarized data to digital tokens, which represent proof of ownership of assets.

Technologies
The platform utilizes the trust of distributed ledger technology. Smart contracts are implemented in Ethereum (Solidity) and Tezos (LIGO). Application: Node.js (TypeScript), Angular 9+. Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Docker-compose, TeamCity.

Responsibilities
• Create automation testing framework for the project from scratch
• Together with the team (QA, Devs, BA), be responsible for the project quality
• Participate in ongoing collaborative development, improvement, implementation of automation test solutions, test data and test result reporting
• Develop automation tests for Web (UI and API) application with microservices architecture
• Maintain test-related documentation (test strategies, test cases and test plans)

Required skills
• 3+ years of test automation experience
• Strong knowledge of OOP (understanding OOP in automation)
• Good knowledge of JS/typescript
• Good REST API testing knowledge
• Experience in developing automation testing framework from scratch
• Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver
• Good knowledge of automation testing principles
• CI knowledge and experience (TeamCity is preferable)
• Strong knowledge of web-based application structure
• Good theoretical knowledge of testing levels and types
• Strong knowledge of test design techniques
• Deep understanding of SDLC (SCRUM, Kanban)
• Knowledge and experience in reviewing requirements
• Problem-solving skills
• Experience in UI testing
• Intermediate English (both spoken and written)
• Experience with Docker

As a plus
• Experience with developing a framework from scratch
• Experience with Puppeteer or Playwright
