We specialize in public health data platforms, and work closely with the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluations (IHME) at the University of Washington (healthdata.org), an institution privately funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. With them, we’ve been enabling public health policy makers make data-based decisions for many years, and most recently we’ve been helping them empower governments and private organizations with their world leading Covid-19 forecasting model. Client that use the tools we develop include federal and state governments protecting public health, large pharmaceutical companies working on life-saving drugs and interventions, and multinationals protecting the health and safety of their employees.

Required Skills
- Experience with Javascript
- Understanding of React
- Understanding of client-side architecture principles: Flux, MV*
- Understanding of object oriented design
- Understanding of semantic markup
- Understanding of scrum-like iterative development processes
- Comfortable with version control, build and test automation, continuous integration
- English proficiency sufficient to communicate with American co-workers
- Self-organization and proactiveness

Bonus Skills:
- Experience with React / React Native
- Experience in mobile development
- Experience in back-end development

Location: The position is remote but it will require regular sync up meetings.
