Project Description
SW Platform and SDK for future autonomous driving systems at German OEM (based on AUTOSAR Adaptive)

Our teams in the project:
- On-site team with PM, specialists, requirements engineers, all strongly client facing
- Near-shore team St. Pete with strong SW development skills (existing and growing)

Technologies used: Linux, C++, AUTOSAR Adaptive, Eclipse, yocto project, etc.; agile development (SCRUM)

∙ Understand and analyze customer's design including identifying any gaps or missing information needed to perform validation and testing activities
∙ Participate in defining test strategy for the given set of requirements
∙ Participate in design of test framework and harness including advanced capabilities of test environment modelling and continuous integration
∙ Develop and deliver complex, algorithmic rich tests to provide planned coverage of respect product specifications and coding base
∙ Analyse, interpret executed test cases and confirm that the software behavior respects the requirement documents
∙ Work with bug tracking system (JIRA) to record, trace and drive to resolution defects and issues discovered
∙ Support development team in issues reproduction and root cause analysis
∙ Participate in tasks planning and technical risk assessment
∙ Contribute effectively to the continuous improvement of the project, team, and work environment by submitting improvement proposals whenever possible
∙ Report work progress continuously through attendance of SCRUM meetings
Must have

∙ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Software Engineering or Computer Science
∙ Basic understanding of modern test methodologies, relevant standards, processes and tools
∙ Analytical mind, willingness to understand complex systems and find their weaknesses
∙ Practical programming skills (C++ / JAVA / Python)
∙ Good command of English
∙ Be proactive, self-motivated and self-disciplined
∙ Ability to write official test reports, and provide test status
∙ Able to convey technical ideas and concepts through team discussions, presentations and in writing
∙ Ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet expectations of internal and external customers
Nice to have

∙ Practical knowledge of modern test methodologies, relevant standards, processes and tools
∙ Basic knowledge of Test Automation SIL/HIL
∙ Practical knowledge of Jenkins, Bamboo
∙ Shell scripting
∙ Python programming skills
∙ Understanding of linux containers
∙ Practical knowledge of V-Model of development and Automotive standards, e.g. ASPICE, AUTOSAR
∙ Practical knowledge of In-Vehicle and communication interfaces, e.g.
Automotive Ethernet CAN, FlexRay
∙ Understanding of Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
∙ basic (or higher) understanding of German
∙ ISTQB certified
English: B1 Intermediate
