Key Responsibilities:
Deployment and upgrades
Management tooling (avn-admin etc.)
Monitoring and alerting
Technical customer service issues / support tickets
2nd level customer support
Escalations and on-call 24/7/365
Capacity planning
Critical bug fixes and vulnerabilities
Processes and tooling for all of the above
Must-have skills:
Python system programming;
Linux: Linux as a development environment, sysadmin work, know how to configure various open-source software packages, general competence at the command-line;
PostgreSQL;
Information security;
Automation (CI, testing, deployment, configuration management);
Metrics, monitoring and alerting systems;
Cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
