We provide a digital platform for asset managers in a fully integrated manner with custom designs, institutional grade content and ad hoc and scheduled reporting.


Project description

The overall system is a cloud-based (private cloud) SaaS solution for asset managers covering the whole value chain from client profiling to algorithmic portfolio construction, risk management, and reporting. The system will allow asset managers to provide private clients with better financial advice at a lower cost and to comply with upcoming regulations. The company is based in Switzerland.

The following architectural styles and technologies are used: microservices architecture, OpenID Connect, .Net Core 3.1, ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework Core, MS SQL Server 2017, PostgreSQL, WPF, Docker.


Information about team

The Lviv team consists of ~20 specialists (Developers, QA, BA, Designer and DevOps) of mixed seniority. In total there is a team of about 40 people in Zurich and Lviv that are working closely with and direct communication. Well established work processes according to Agile principles. Always open for good decisions and ideas. You will be involved in developing a great product, it’s not about outstaffing or outsourcing, it’s all about values.


Roles and Responsibilities

- Create SQL stored procedures to load and manipulate data into production table structures
- Develop strong business and technical understanding of services and database design
- Work with internal and external clients to understand business requirements and ensure the required business functionality of each data element is met
- Perform T-SQL data profiling, analysis and mapping to ensure data quality and reliability
- Handle new implementation, changes to existing layouts/data load code, automation development, performance optimization and database maintenance like indexing and fragmentation
- Test mapping and code to ensure the data is loaded appropriately
- Ensure data loads are completed and quality checks are performed
- Support defect triaging, fixes and testing.


Qualifications and Educational Requirements

- 5+ years using Microsoft SQL Server
- 3+ years experience creating and maintaining highly complex T-SQL queries, views, and especially stored procedures
- Experience in memory-optimized tables
- Performance analysis and query optimization
- Ability to complete time-sensitive, multi-dimensional projects independently or as part of a team
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple concurrent projects
- Self-driven
- Ability to comply with internal policies about how to write T-SQL code including formatting
- Strong written, verbal and customer service skills.


Will be a plus

- C# development experience
- REST-API experience
- Knowledge in financial instruments/securities.
