Raketa is looking for an Human Resources Director to lead the HR function

About the Role

We're hiring an HR Director to lead the HR function. You will provide consultation and expertise in the areas of Employee Planning, Performance. Management, and Employee Relations.
The HR Director is responsible for the delivery of day to day HR activities to employees and Managers, ensuring that the company upholds best practices, remains legislatively compliant, and can work with others to maintain a cohesive, productive, and positive work environment and strong team culture.


Requirements

- You are persistent and can navigate the complexities of a fast growing business to build processes that scale;
- You are comfortable and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing team-oriented environment and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously;
- You’re naturally curious and have a self-starter personality;
- You are results-oriented, always evaluating whether our team's activities are achieving the desired, measurable impact;
- You can quickly identify HR process gaps and recommend enhancements, improvements and simplification (i.e. automation) to existing processes;
- Continually optimize existing processes for efficiency and effectiveness;
- You have a deep understanding of HR systems and how they can be leveraged to streamline workflows;
- You have a strong understanding of the employee lifecycle from pre-hire stage, to onboarding and offboarding.

You will

-You’ll be responsible for mentoring and elevating fellow members of the recruitment team;
-Conduct quarterly audit of HR processes and procedures to ensure compliance, efficiency
and a positive customer experience;
-Continuously identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness through the development and deployment of solutions to improve productivity and drive efficiencies in the People Team;
-You will implement identified process improvements and automation opportunities for HR processes;
-Enforce & develop our HR policies and procedures as necessary;
-Help enhance our employee experience;
-Coach people managers in areas such as performance management, leave management, reward/recognition, etc.;
-Collaborate closely with people operations, recruiting, and legal teams to support thoughtful, seamless solution delivery;
-Cultivate a strong management team helping build their skills with regular communication and learning programmes;
-You’ll be responsible for employee brand awareness.
