Senior Power BI developer (offline)

*Educational Requirements:*
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

*Experience and Skills:*
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Power BI development.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Mobile applications.
Expertise in developing complex data models utilizing Power Query and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
Proven ability to design and implement interactive, visually compelling reports and dashboards.
In-depth understanding of data modeling principles, including data normalization and denormalization techniques.
Skilled in integrating data from diverse sources such as databases, APIs, Excel, and other data formats.
Experienced in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
Ability to write complex DAX formulas for calculations, aggregations, and custom measures.
Proficiency in implementing time intelligence functions in DAX.
Proficient in transforming and cleaning data using Power Query.
Knowledge of advanced data transformations using the M formula language or Python.
Strong SQL skills for effective querying and manipulation of data in relational databases.
Capable of optimizing Power BI reports for enhanced performance, including reducing data refresh times and improving report responsiveness.
Understanding of Power BI’s security features, including the implementation of role-based security and row-level security (RLS).
Experience in automating routine tasks using Power BI PowerShell and other scripting languages.
Familiarity with version control systems for efficient management of Power BI assets.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues related to data, reports, and dashboards
Design and development of visually compelling and effective reports and dashboards
Knowledge of best practices for data visualization
Ability to train and share knowledge or best practices for working with Power BI

Migration and adaptation of existing functionalities and features from QlikView and QlikSense to Power BI, ensuring the development of new capabilities in line with Power BI's features and potential.
Mentoring other Power BI developers

Thorough onboarding and deep dive into the project's specifics

Assessment and modification of the approach used in building embedded Power BI dashboards for CRM
Implementation of version control in Power BI dashboard development
Automation of deployment for embedded Power BI dashboards for new clients
