QA Engineer (offline)

Company provides testing services to develops a standalone Telecom Interconnect Billing application. It is fully functional system which covers all possible areas of Interconnect Billing – from collecting information from network routers\stations up to billing and invoicing partners. It converges Roaming, Interconnect, Digital Content and Broadband Access Billing into a single solution.

Skills and Responsibilities:

Analyze, validate and review requirements;
Create, run test cases, create data sets and test suites, perform a review of the test documentation, use traceability matrix;
Understand and work in accordance with the processes of the methodology used on the project;
Setup and maintain the environment for testing in accordance with planned activities;
Perform different types of testing;
Report work results: gather statistic, provide the testing results analysis, create status reports;
Be able to communicate with client written and verbal on a daily basis, on technical matters, discuss progress, issues, risks, etc.

Requirements
0.5 -1 year practical experience in different types of testing (manual testing), good understanding/experience in exploratory testing;
University degree, preferably in Computer Science (or equivalent;
Understanding of development life cycles and testing activities for each stage;
Understanding of testing principles and role of QA in development process;
Ability to read, understand and analyse requirements; ability to review the requirements and create a clear and well-structured test documentation on the base of the provided requirements;
Ability to write/design/execute clear and structured test cases, report issues;
Good understanding/experience of work with bug tracking systems, know bugs lifecycle;
Basic experience in tasks estimation;
Ability to give clear reporting of the work results;
Basic knowledge in CI tools using (Jenkins);
Basic knowledge in version control tools (SVN, Git);
Familiarity with Databases on basic level - ability to search and validate data on the base of the needed criterias.
Basic knowledge in any programming language would be a benefit;
Experience in using Docker is a benefit;
Be able to communicate with client written and verbal on a daily basis, on technical matters.
