Senior/Lead Scala developer (offline)

WE ARE
Our Client is one of the largest retail companies in the world. We develop different complex solutions related to Big Data, to help the customer in their migration to Google Cloud Platform.
You are going to be a part of the team, which is working on developing automated tools for Teradata to BigQuery migration. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing these solutions. You will be involved in a cross-national team, building innovative products within collaborative, cross-functional teams.

YOU ARE
A Software Engineer demonstrating:
• Proficiency in the following programming languages: Scala, Java
• Expertise in SQL and at least one of the RDBMS.
• Very strong communicational skills
• English level - Upper-Intermediate
• Strong self-organization skills, proactiveness
• Good to know, but not a must: Teradata, BigQuery
• Cloud experience (GCP in particular)
• Knowing Big Data technology areas is a plus
