Senior DBA Engineer (offline)

Automate where we can to ensure that the behavior of those databases and the platforms they operate on are consistent and transparent, as are the costs.”


YOU ARE

• Technical leadership in SQL Server core technologies. SSIS, SSAS, TDE, reporting server, replication, Always-On, HA, and clustering in VMware Cloud
• Strong Scripting Skills in PowerShell and Python, vRealize Automation (VRA) or ABX Functions
• Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) focused
• Experience in supporting several enterprise-wide high availability systems and services with SLA drove up-time requirements
• Actifo/Copy Data Management skills (would be a plus)
• Familiar with Agile and Scrum Methodologies
• English level Intermediate+

YOU WANT TO WORK WITH

• Work closely with project teams, bringing together development and database leads
• Collaborate with technical and functional partners to build new data solutions that transform raw data into critical data and insights
• Analyze business application requirements, identify concerns and develop action plans
• Be part of an Agile team, using company’s latest software development life-cycle working closely with team members
• Mentor other DBAs in best practice and automation of tasks whenever and wherever possible
