Middle/Senior Automation QA engineer (offline)

Project description:

E-commerce platform for one of the largest builders’ merchants in the UK. Our client is taking on the complete redevelopment of the existing legacy platform with the focus on UX and Responsive Web Design, and the Microservice Platform. It is aiming to remove vendor locking and fully leverage on the latest Open Source technical stack delivering the eCommerce platform of the future.
Our goal is to ensure automation level and to process QA documentation for the Scrum-based team. The project is overall highly automated in BDD style (Cucumber, Java, Selenium, API\UI).

Requirements:

- 2+ year commercial experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer / Software Developer in Test or similar
- 2+ year commercial experience in using Java or similar language
- Linux/Unix basic administration experience
- Experience with Selenium
- Understanding of networking, REST services, transport data structures (e.g. JSON/XML)
- Expertise in QA processes, including requirements analysis and test planning
- Good spoken and written English

Nice to have:
- Experience as Software Developer in Test using JavaScript
- Experience with performance/load testing
- Experience in using Cucumber
- Experience working with DataBases, SQL knowledge
