— 5+ years of experience as a Senior Engineering Manager
— 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
— Deep knowledge of software design, development and delivery cycle
— Strong proven experience with Scrum
— Professional experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
— Fluent in English

— Strong relationship and communication skills

Responsibilities

— Hiring, training and leading a team of developers (Team Leads, Front-End and Back-End) through coaching, mentoring, and career development, alongside hands-on coding.
— Becoming an expert on Bizzabo’s Engineering methodology and process, and be responsible for implementing it in Bizzabo-Ukraine.
— Working closely with product management on designing and implementing cutting edge products, on-time and in high-quality.
— Making commitments to deliver on a product roadmap and ensuring that the right trade-offs and decisions are made in order to stick to those commitments.
— Collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Customer Care and the engineering team in Israel to ensure full alignment on deliverables.
— Reports to the VP R&D

Our server architecture is microservices-based, running on a Kubernetes cluster, written in Java and Kotlin, using MySQL, Elasticsearch, BigQuery, and Kafka as data sources, and we are using BI tools for advanced analytics. Our front end is node.js, next.js, and React, and our mobile app is written in React Native.
