The Founder
Growth Shop’s founder, Mark Patchett, brings a decade plus experience of rapidly scaling businesses with globally distributed teams. Most recently he led growth marketing for Nectar Sleep (Resident Home) in the USA, throughout that 2 year period the business grew from $10m RR to $300m (landing the #1 fastest growing consumer brand and 211 largest by revenue in the USA). Prior to that was Trouva.com as Marketing Director, taking sales from a handful a day to be the top 5 fastest growing in Europe, before that was CRO for The BBC, The Economist, Channel 4 and prior to that he built ecom strategies for over 250 SMEs.

The Role
We're looking for a Direct marketing specialist to help enrich and expand our remote US & UK growth team. You will be executing on our growth plans for our in-house brands. You’ll be the kind of person that loves getting their hands dirty inside accounts but is also not afraid to present new ideas and better processes to the Growth Strategy team along the way.

In order to carry out the growth plans, you’ll have control over multiple touch points and flexibility to suggest new solutions wherever there is an opportunity. Whether reworking and building automated email sequences, creating sales messaging campaigns, optimising product pages, dropping SMS, testing direct mail, creating a tool portfolio for a new brand or anything in between.

You’ll be working with the founder and Product Manager directly to implement an effective growth plan. From day 1, it’ll all be about efficient impact; AKA the biggest impact from the smartest efficient input.

Your KPI’s
- Owning our email and messaging execution plan in Klaviyo (getting campaigns live with error-free implementation)
- Optimizing, testing, and tweaking our messaging and campaigns with innovative ideas to consistently improve performance
- Working on process improvements to ensure we’re delivering better result but faster each time
- Working collaboratively with the team for cross-team satisfaction

Your experience:
- 3 years+ experience working within marketing, messaging, or email
- Experience working within fast-paced environments and working to tight deadlines
- You’re highly operational/process driven
- You love to accomplish any and every task whether alone or as a team
- You’re an A+ executor but also think creatively
- You self educate, invest in your own personal growth, and have a desire to learn from others
- You’re confident, express your opinions, but are completely open-minded and care more about the right outcome vs just pushing your opinion
- You get that life shouldn’t be too serious
- You can operate with multiple time zones
- You’re not a 9-5 type
