Wonderment Apps is looking for a talented Part Time UI/UX Designer to design consumer-centric websites, software, and platforms that inspire a sense of Wonder. In this position, you will enhance user experience through a combination of research and design that will maximize conversions and customer retention
In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve complex problems. Essential to this position is a strong portfolio of successful digital UX projects.
Duties and responsibilities
Collaborating with Designers, Developers, and Business teams to create intuitive, user-friendly software and websites
Identifying Conversions, KPIs, and creating advanced User Flows
Creating low- and high-fidelity wireframes, flows, comps, and based on product requirements
Design and implement attractive layouts and interfaces
Communicate design ideas to developers with clear annotations and documentation
Develop low- and high-fidelity clickable prototypes
Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends
Understand product specifications and user psychology
Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs
Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
Create personas through user research and data
Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
Creation of additional graphic assets and documentation as needed
Bachelor's Degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field - or equivalent experience
Strong portfolio of designs for real-world web or software products
5+ years experience as a professional Graphic Designer, UX Designer, UI Designer, or similar role
Advanced knowledge of design software like Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe CC, Photoshop, Figma, or some combination of these and others.
Advanced understanding of interaction design and information architecture
Ability to identify and implement improvements to existing design workflow
Good communication skills
