Java Developer (offline)

We are looking for JAVA Developer to join Kyiv team on a full-time basis.


Responsibilities:

Write clean, scalable code, remain up to date with concepts and best practices
Create new features; revise, update, refactor existing code
Develop technical specifications, design documentation and architecture
Participate in requirements analysis; assist POs in defining requirements and explain the capabilities and limitations of various systems
Test and deploy developed code, providing technical support
Coordinate with other software professionals and developers

Must:

Java 8/11; Spring (Data/Integration/Boot/etc.)
RabbitMQ messaging (Kafka would be a plus)
MongoDB (experience with sharding would be a plus)
REST API (and some SOAP)
Design Patterns (Enterprise Integration Patterns, GoF, microservices, etc.)
Git (GitLab)
Spring STS (IDE)
Experience developing large-scale enterprise applications
Experience integrating with other products and APIs
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, attention to detail
Looking for someone with a great attitude, works well with others, and thrives in a startup type environment
BSc/MSc degree in SW engineering or similar
Good spoken and written English


Nice to have:

Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Docker)
Unit testing frameworks
Agile/Scrum
TFS, Azure DevOps
DevOps fundamentals
