Senior Data Scientist (offline)
Responsibilities:
- Work with subject matter experts to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to solve data monitoring use cases.
- Mine, wrangle and analyse company data to provide insights and drive R&D activities and model preparation.
- Collaborate with colleagues/stakeholders on data acquisition, modelling and deployment.
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Develop custom models and algorithms to applying to both real-time and non-real-time data.
- Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize pricing / service outage anomaly detection and other related use cases.
- Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
Mandatory Skills:
- 7-10 years working as a Data Scientist
- Able to articulate complex data science concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in Deep Learning and other Machine Learning techniques (e.g. regression, classification, topic modelling, time series,).
- Experience designing, implementing and testing Predictive Analytics models
- Strong Experience with machine learning in Python, SQL, Pandas, Numpy, Scikit Learn, Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch or equivalent
- Development of advanced algorithms in Python / JVM based languages where required
- Experience in Agile development methods
- Experience of working in cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS etc)
- Excited about data science
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Financial services industry experience
- Previous experience in Anomaly Detection
- Spark / Hive / Big Data Experience
- AWS /Athena / AWS Sagemaker
- DevOps experience (Git, CI etc)
