QA Lead (offline)

Project Description:
We build the platform, which supports client onboarding in global financial institution. This platform includes processing of onboarding requests as they flow from Clients to Sales to Operations and to downstream processing functions.
Technically solution consists of two main components:
1. Metadata configurator. Analysts use it to prepare metadata that Operational application works on top of. Allows for customization of business processes and rules 2. Operational application. Operations analysts' main tool, onboarding requests live here.
Applications built with Java8/Kotlin, Activiti, JBoss Drools, Spring, Mongo DB, Hazelcast, Vaadin on UI in main components, React/Redux in auxiliary components. Auxiliary components cover various business cases: reporting, client facing applications, operational dashboards, request processing prioritization and many more.
Responsibilities:
- Lead software testing activities
- Perform functional, regression and performance testing
- Understand and clarify requirements for future test cases
- Design and execute test plans/test cases for manual and automated testing
- Estimate the time needed for test activities
- Identify functional and non-functional requirements
- Maintain the regression test pack up to date
- Clearly describe found defects
- Cooperate closely with developers on different stages of the project
- Perform demos for business stakeholders and ensure software meets their requirements
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge of test design;
- Basic hands-on coding experience in Java;
- Good problem investigation skills;
- Knowledge of software testing principles and concepts;
- Previous experience with automated testing of frontend or/and backend and APIs.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Kotlin/Groovy;
- Good command of written and spoken English;
- Banking domain;
- ISTQB Certification (foundation level);
- Positive attitude.

English: B2 Upper Intermediate
