Engagement Software Engineer (offline)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our starters team to launch new projects based on innovative and in-demand networking technologies. Our Customers are the world’s leading switching hardware and software product vendors as well as ambitious startups.

We offer a ramp-up period for strong candidates to boost their expertise in Networking technologies. This includes 3 pre-project weeks of dive deep into new tech, followed by 3 months guided by an experienced mentor.

You will join a collaborative environment with open, transparent communication, well-established processes, a minimum of formalities, and a maximum of trust.

Vacancy responsibilities:
● Independent communication with the customer: collecting customer needs and defining requirements
● Perform studies/research on technologies to suggest optimal solution
● Solution vision preparation and design negotiation with customer’s technicians and management
● Documentation and infrastructure elaboration and maintenance for the project
● Knowledge of development cycle methodology (from design to final delivery)
● Project decomposition in phases/tasks and project plan estimation
● Conduct technical interviews
● Develop & present technical & comprehensive solutions to customer problems in field of networking software implementation: NOSes for Ethernet switches/routeres, open-source solutions, embedded system (SDK, plugin, networking application, BSP)

Vacancy requirements:
● 5+ years of experience in C/C++ Embedded Software engineering
● Experience with Linux
● Experience with L2/L3 networking
● Good troubleshooting and debugging skills
● Good communication skills, ability to work in a team
● Knowledge of technical English at Upper-Intermediate level

Vacancy plus options:
● Experience in Virtual Networks (SDN, SDN Controllers, OpenFlow, Open vSwitch, Mininet or similar)
● Experience with Docker, Vagrant
