Senior Manual QA Engineer for Ionir (offline)

We’re looking for a top talent Manual QA engineer who can combine creative thinking, technical understanding of highly complex system and a strong understanding of user behavior.

About Client:
We help enterprises teleport data with our cloud-native storage and data management platform for Kubernetes. We combine high-performance container-native storage & data management, enabling any persistent volume to be copied or moved between two Kubernetes clusters in less than 60 seconds, no matter the size of the volume, the amount of data, or the location of the clusters.

Responsibilities
Work with complex architecture of a micro-service, container based data management system
Be responsible for all quality aspects lifecycle starting form understanding and gathering of product requirements and ending at tracking and owning feature status and maturity
Become the quality advocate inside the scrum team, working closely with our developers, DevOps, Automation & Product teams
Write and execute manual and scripted test plans to meet release quality criteria
Investigate, debug and document defects of complexed micro-service container based system with running in cloud environment

Requirements
5+ years of proven experience in QA methodologies and test cycles
3+ years focusing in the Core and Back-End of a Linux based product
Experience in Linux operation system
Ability to script (python, java, etc.)
Strong debugging and monitoring skills
Create test plans for new features and maintain existing ones on the go
Prioritize and translate Test plans and cases for Automation to code
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness

Desirable
Experience with storage
Experience with Docker and kubernetis
Experience with public cloud environments, AWS, Azure, etc
