Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React/Node.js) (offline)

We are looking for candidates with proven track records of building Node.js + React applications preferably in small startups that gave you a good understanding not only how code is written, but also how it's tested, deployed, maintained and troubleshot in production.

Team: about 20 developers, working in distributed team US-Italy-Ukraine. This is a challenging, but fun position for a senior-level developer with a lot of opportunities to learn new skills and use them.

Skills required:

-5+ years of professional web development experience
-Expertise in Node, Javascript (ES6) and a good understanding of web front-end technologies
-Experience developing user interfaces with the React framework
-Solid object-oriented and functional programming background
-Experience working with databases such as MySQL, No SQL, Elastic Search
-Experience building REST
-Experience with AWS
-Experience with Agile software development
-Strong upper-intermediate English

Responsibilities:

-You will be a part of our small team that works fast, but without stress and all-nighters
-Most of the time you will own the feature that you develop - build it all the way from data storage to UI. As part of our team you will have autonomy and opportunity to use your creativity
-Our current platform was built with a variety of stacks and successfully served our customers for the last 6 years. Now we are ready to take it to the next level. The new platform will be build with node.js and React. It will use a number of AWS services, such as DynamoDb, Aurora, SQS, SES, SNS, Batch, EMR, ElasticSearch, ElasticCache, Lambda, SageMaker. It will be a combination of monolithic platform with some micro-services.
-Building our new platform will give you an opportunity to use your skills (or learn) to deliver RASSM (reliable, available, secure, scalable and maintainable) application.
