Senior DevOps Engineer #7661 (offline)

Our client is one of the USA startup that provides high-quality student loan payments APIs empowering products to assist their customers pay their debt down faster. Their engineering organization leverages modern approaches to deliver reliable software seamlessly, using technologies such as Kubernetes + Istio for declarative orchestration, Bazel for builds with high code reuse, and a resilient micro-services mesh to ensure isolation and high availability.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Resolve most complex DevOps tasks
Establish and implement the best practices of centralized logging and monitoring
Reduce key operational performance indicators
Work closely with Engineering teams
Work in close contact with team members and project stakeholders on the client’s site
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
MUST HAVE:
5+ years in DevOps/System administration
2+ years of experience with AWS or GCP stack
Scripting experience (fluent in at least one of the following: bash, python, perl, ruby)
Hands-on experience of working with production environments with zero tolerance to any errors
Experience in Agile development environments
Excellent English level for communication (verbal & written)
