Java Developer (Krakow) (offline)

K&C is looking for a Java Developer for Krakow/Kyiv office who has extensive experience in Java to continue developing an E-commerce platform that circulates around conferences, festivals, exhibitions, and content marketing.

Project and Role Description
The main goal is to develop a subset of projects around the core platform. We are looking for a person who is ready to work in an international team (6 developers in the UK, 6 — in Poland, and 5 currently in Kyiv and continuing expanding), values stability (by contributing to one project with nice technology stack and complex tasks) and its related products (that are end-user oriented) within one company for some period of time.
Technologies used within the project: Java 11, Spring WebFlux, Groovy(Ratpack), Gradle, Redis, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, JS on client-side(Ember, React), Spock, RESTfull API; PSQL.

Requirements for the candidate:
— 2+ years of Java 8-11 commercial experience
— Experience with REST and non-REST APIs and user interfaces
— Experience with any database, preferable PostgresSQL
— Knowledge of build tools like Maven and/or Gradle
— Upper-Intermediate+ knowledge of the English language is mandatory

Will be an additional advantage if you know/have experience of working with:
— Groovy/Gradle
— Non-blocking Java frameworks (Ratpack, Spring WebFlux)
— Spock/Geb
— AWS services (Cognito, S3, SES, Lambda, DynamoDb)
— MongoDB
