Strong Middle Test Engineer (Global Marketplace) (offline)

CUSTOMER
Our customer is from the UK. The company owns a global marketplace for fashion industry that allows users selling customized or rare clothes and accessories. It provides a way to recycle unwanted items for money.

The customer is pretty successful, has raised more than $100 million of investments since the project has more than 15 million active users.


PROJECT
The project is a social shopping platform – mix of retail and social network platforms. Users have profile pages where they can post pictures and descriptions of what they are selling and for what price. Generally, a platform specializes in clothes retail. Posts can contain hashtags and additional information to make items search more comfortable.

The main task is to produce the most evocative buying and selling experience for users. You will be responsible for payment system integration and working with accessibility features.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Work as a part of product development team
Closely collaborate with dev team on Customer side
Support and follow Quality Assistance process
Plan and estimate testing activities
Create test documentation (test cases, test approach, etc.)
Perform manual Functional, Regression, and Compatibility testing (Web, Mobile)
Hold regular and clear status and progress reporting


REQUIREMENTS
At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance
Experience in mobile testing (iOS, Android native applications)
Experience and deep awareness in functional testing (test design techniques, change impact analysis, etc.)
Knowledge of Agile (Kanban, Scrum) methodologies
Good communication and reporting skills
Upper-Intermediate+ level of spoken and written English
WOULD BE A PLUS:
Experience with Jira/Confluence/TM4J
Experience with payment systems integration
