QA Engineer (Manual) (offline)

Main Responsibilities:
• Work in close cooperation with the development team
• Document and maintain tests and test results
• Provide efficient bug tracking
• Analyze the requirements and define the main use cases
• Take active part in daily meetings

Mandatory Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in manual testing (preferably desktop)
- experience in using different types of testing (sanity, smoke, regression, negative testing)
- experience in performance testing
- experience in test documentation (use cases, test cases, test suites)
- ability to concisely and exhaustively describe the problem and the scenario of its reproduction
- working with bug tracking systems (Jira, TestRail)
- upper-intermediate level of English
- knowledge of agile development methodologies, SCRUM in particular
- good memory, fast learning

Optional Requirements:
- ISTQB certification
- experience with ODBC
- at least superficial knowledge of OpenEdge ABL
- experience with Git or similar CVS'
- Automated testing experience/knowledge

Project description: Remittance payment platform, used for payment reconciliation.
The product is very old (comes from 1990s) and is a blend of Progress and Microsoft technologies.
The codebase is about 1 million lines of code (~50/50 Progress/.NET)
A combination of web and Desktop applications, also incorporation Image Recognition, OCR and similar functionality.
