Test Automation Engineer with Python (offline)

Description:
Well known Musical Instruments Corporation, an American manufacturer of stringed instruments and amplifiers, is working on a next generation digital product. As a part of this effort, GlobalLogic will be working on various cloud services that support desktop and mobile applications to share, search, backup, and restore hardware presets.

Requirements:
– 2+ years of experience as a QA engineer
– Good knowledge and practical experience in testing techniques
– Understanding of AWS-based cloud services
– Experience in testing services via REST API
– Experience with bug tracking systems
– Good Python coding skills, experience with pytest framework
– Understanding of automated testing technologies
– Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a talented, creative and enthusiastic QA Engineer to join the team in Kyiv. To join our high-performing team, you must have an in-depth understanding of software engineering, testing cloud services, create and maintain manual test cases as well as an automated test suite, an eye for detail, and maintain extremely high standards with respect to software quality and reliability. The ideal candidate possesses software system engineering experience in requirements definition, architectural review, implementation and verification planning.

This team is responsible for all aspects of cloud services, including development, releasing, and maintaining services functionality, setting up infrastructure, and ensuring that functionality is working properly. You will be involved in many projects related to implementing new workflows for our customers, and support new digital products. As a key part of this team, you will work on new functionality, as well as maintaining previous releases of software.

As a QA engineer, you will be involved in automated testing of new features, as well as extending existing test suite, analyze, report, track, and verify defects. Testing activities will be performed on AWS platform, including DynamoDB and Elasticsearch services. The existing automated test suite is done via REST API, with Python using pytest framework.
