Middle/ Senior Python Developer (offline)

Project description:
We are building cutting-edge software to identify and analyze the exposure to climate change of publicly traded companies. It’s our goal to alert investors of the climate risk profiles of companies and to tackle climate change at the roots. Our mission is a big one and we’re looking for talented people to join us. Position Overview
In this role, you will contribute in building Data Management and ETL systems that gathers ecological and financial data from various sources, processes it and generates products for our clients.
You will also be responsible for designing and developing new climate risk computations and bring significant automation in our processes to ensure scalability.

Scope of Responsibility:
• Work closely with research team and other stakeholders
• Always think about how to improve our ETL system
• Implement state-of-the-art API solutions.
• Employ agile development and rapid prototyping techniques
• Promote best engineering practices to ensure quality, stability and scalability of the platform
• Anticipate problems/opportunities and adapt to new challenges.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in Python development
• Experience or strong knowledge in scalable web frameworks
• Track record in delivering Data Pipelines solutions
• Familiarity with RMS, Django and Celery is a plus
• Interest in data quality management and project management is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a multi-cultural and geographically distributed software development team.
• Self-motivated, pro-active and demonstrating an exceptional drive towards delivery.
