Security Engineer (AWS cloud) (offline)

As a member of the Engineering team, you will
Configure and manage security of AWS Cloud environments
Build reusable, testable, scalable, and efficient security automation that improve daily operations of AWS Cloud
Extend existing security services and platforms to enhance partner capabilities
Identify use cases that can be built with existing tools and services to enhance both security automation and posture
Review change requests from security prospective
Review documentation regarding security controls
Perform configuration review of AWS infrastructure
Develop security solutions for the current infrastructure



Requirements

Partner with Engineering teams to integrate security processes and technologies into the engineering process (DevSecOps)
Have an understanding of Agile Software Engineering processes, especially Scrum
A strong foundation in the deployment of a wide range of security solutions. Experience with securing cloud based environments is required.
Demonstrated ability to accurately assess problems and requests from multiple perspectives, analyze approach feasibility, and decide on the efficient course of action.
Proven solid cloud architecture and best practices skill with cloud IaaS such as AWS.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and micro-services in general from a security perspective
CI/CD experience (automate build, packaging, test pipelines and deployments with Jenkins, git) from a security perspective
System and network security best practices
Experience in security systems, including firewalls, data loss prevention, encryption key management, single sign on, intrusion detection systems and vulnerability scanning tools. Understanding of FIM, NIDS, HIDS, SIEM etc.
Prior experience solving complex business problems with technology, including aspects unique to securing the cloud (provider / consumer perspective).
Outstanding proactive communication skills: written, verbal, presentations.
Self-driven, analytical, and results oriented with proven sound judgment.
