Embedded C Firmware Engineer (offline)

You will implement new data transfer systems and gain valuable experience while working with innovative networking hardware. Communicate directly with the customer and work with the latest technologies in a strong team of PLVision’s experts. This will contribute to your fast professional growth and recognition.

Our customer is an Israel-based leader in the network equipment market, recently acquired by a multinational technology corporation. PLVision has been working with the customer since 2015, and the team, as well as the variety of projects, are constantly expanding.

PLVision is a software product development services company, specializing in Computer Networking, Embedded Systems, and the Internet of Things Connectivity. Operating in the global market since 2007, we help networking industry leaders and ambitious startups launch innovative products. PLVision has offices in Lviv, Kyiv, Odesa, Krakow (Poland) and is planning to add an office in Kharkiv.

Vacancy responsibilities:
• Design and development of firmware features, and sustainment of the existing functionality
• Full development cycle methodology (including design, coding and verification)
• Performance of research and analysis to make optimal solution decisions

Vacancy requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software/Computer Engineering
• 2+ years of Software Engineering commercial experience in Embedded Application Development
• Good knowledge of C
• Experience in real-time or embedded software development
• Experience with Linux (at least at a user level)
• Good troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Customer orientation and flexibility
• Knowledge of technical English (Intermediate level and higher)

Vacancy plus options:
• Experience in writing design and functional specifications
• Experience with Layer 2 and/or Layer 3 networking protocols implementation, TCP sockets programming
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash and/or Python)
• Experience with Linux networking
