Test Engineer (Pet Solution) (offline)

As a Test Engineer, you will be a part of the development process in our team and will get the chance to implement your ideas into a new veterinary business management solution.


CUSTOMER
Our customer is a true startup guru having more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry and more than 10 prosperous startups under his belt. Be sure, as a part of his team you will keep pace with state-of-the art technologies and practices.


PROJECT
We are cooperating with a US-based startup backed with one of the leading Venture Capital Firms. Together with their team, we are building from scratch a Cloud Management System allowing vet business owners and their employees to view and manage vital internal processes of the clinic. It is a unique solution covering all aspects of veterinary business management – starting with medicaments purchase and up to clients’ management.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform manual functional testing of react-based web application
Plan and estimate testing activities
Create test documentation: checklists, test cases, bug reports
Perform acceptance testing of new features
Execute regression testing and API testing
Effectively collaborate with team members to achieve the best results
Participate in the communication with Customer


REQUIREMENTS
At least 3 years of experience in manual testing of web applications
Strong understanding of SDLC and test theory
Strong experience in requirements analysis and test documentation creation (checklists, test cases, bug reports, etc.)
Understanding of REST, HTTP, and the client-server model
Experience in API testing using Postman
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Basic estimation skills
Basic SQL knowledge
At least an Intermediate level of English
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience in automated tests development using Selenium
Familiarity with Java
Unix administration skills
Experience in Mobile testing
