Middle Python Engineer (offline)
Description
Medical device. Sensor for Continuous Glucose Monitoring for people living with diabetes to check glucose readings in real-time or monitor glucose readings over a period of time.
Main goal is to develop a communication library which will allow communication with the CGM sensor through proprietary BLE dongles and will be used mainly during the manufacturing process.
Our client is a leading US-based manufacturer of medical devices developing innovative medical systems and services that provides monitoring and cardiology diagnostics to clinicians and healthcare facilities for patients around the world.
Our team is focusing on designing and developing the next iterations of complex software/hardware platforms for patient’s monitoring, where the software has strong restrictions for safety and quality.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in Python.
Good knowledge of Python 2.x/3.x.
Good knowledge of multithreading.
Knowledge of Test Drive Development (TDD).
Knowledge of design patterns.
Experience with creating unit tests.
Additional:
Experience in Qt/PyQt
Experience in C/C++
Experience in embedded systems.
Experience in BLE.
Experience in communications via Serial port.
Experience in MySQL
Preferences
C++, Qt, MySQL, BLE
Responsibilities
New features implementation. Bug fixing and troubleshooting
Developing unit/integration tests
Take part in calls with customer.
Participating in code-reviews.
