Solutions Architect (offline)
The Project
The candidate will join the company on a full-time basis and will help us develop our best software products to facilitate our clients’ road to success.
Responsibilities
· Provide pre-sales support and technical consultancy for our clients, both existing and potential, in accordance with the clients’ needs and our capabilities
· Lead the software architecturing processes and create whitebooks and roadmaps on our solutions for our clients
· Take action to build the solution architecture and design, including application components and the entire software development infrastructure
· Develop cost estimate documentation for new projects, assess and work out solutions to mitigate project risks, and take the leading role in commercial proposals development
· Research, investigate and respond to various technical issues in terms of elaborating and introducing the best options to address those
· Work in close cooperation with the team leads and other architects in order to resolve existing dependencies and shape out the project technical requirements
· Track and monitor the project scope and progress
· Work as team with the Project Management staff to identify the project budgets and timeframes
· Serve as a mentor for those team members who require highly professional assistance in technical issues.
Requirements
· NLT 7 years of commercial software development experience
· At least 1 year in a capacity of a Solutions Architect
· Past record and proven expertise in the software architecture and design
· Experience in conducting the presales processes and building the proposals
· Deep and expert knowledge of the SDLC and the best practices and technologies
· Expert skills in cloud solution architecture approaches, i.e. Azure/Amazon
· Deep knowledge of various architecture approaches, styles, technologies, and patterns
· SOA-based application design and development experience
· Ability and readiness to help both front and backend engineers create scalable and hig performance software products
· Ability to find new ways to share the company’s vision, strategy, philosopy, products and services with key clients and other stakeholders and establish a trustful and reliable link with them
· Fluent or nearly fluent spoken and written English (not worse than B+)
· Perfect skills in communication and in conducting the demos and other presentations both internally and for external audiences
