Senior/Lead Frontend developer (offline)

You should believe in close collaboration over rigid processes, and be excited by the idea of working as part of a team which is greater than the sum of its parts. You will be interested in the why as well as how when carrying out a task and be flexible in the role you perform to achieve the team’s goals.

As a senior member of the team, you'll be expected to work closely with the product manager to oversee the development cycle and keep driving the project forwards. You should be interested in lean product development and take responsibility for promoting best practice through the team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Translate user stories into functional applications and help guide designers in line with API functionality
Reviewing application requirements and interface designs
Developing and implementing highly-responsive user interface components
Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
Consume data from REST APIi's and web socket-based API's in an efficient and performant way
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Create a website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
​Requirements:
Experience in Web Development (5+ years)
Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML
Experience with testing frameworks like Mocha
Experience building Native iOS and Android applications
Knowledge of design principles
Knowledge of modern UI frameworks like React
Knowledge of LEAN product development
knowledge of Web Analytic frameworks
Experience with Figma
Knowledge of how front-end applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software
Knowledge of client app build-related tools like Webpack and npm
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field (nice to have)
English: Upper Intermediate+
