Affiliate Marketing Manager (offline)

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this highly visible role coordinates with internal marketing and development managers to create, implement and manage affiliate programs, including recruiting new publisher partners, creating campaigns, building and managing relationships with affiliate networks (Affiliate Window, Blogger Networks), reporting performance, and identifying new opportunities.

POSITION:

The Affiliate Marketing Manager will lead the strategic development of the affiliate marketing program and optimize the performance of the affiliate channel. This key role will formulate overall strategy, grow existing affiliate partnerships, identify new opportunities, report on campaign performance, and ultimately be responsible for managing, growing and driving the development of our affiliate partner channel.

Specific duties and responsibilities include:

Communicate with affiliates to increase visibility of offerings and teach new affiliates about products / services available for promotion, build sales from existing publishers and activate inactive publishers.
Recruit new affiliates, joint venture partners, and strategic partners.
Plan and implement featured placements and email campaigns with key affiliates.
Provide all aspects of support to affiliates including development of landing pages, banner ads, newsletters, and email blasts, etc.
Structure program terms, negotiate payouts and commission fees.
Oversee daily affiliate management including ongoing development and deployment of: fresh marketing creative, affiliate communications such as eNewsletters and blog posts, offers, affiliate payments, and dispute resolution.
Monitor affiliate activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase affiliate-generated revenues.
Develop annual affiliate campaign calendar and rollout plans.
Represent OvernightPrints.com at all affiliate marketing related trade shows.
Manage Affiliate partner platform relationship.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 3 years affiliate marketing experience, preferably in online retail.
BS/BA degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or business.
Exceptional sales/business development skills with a proven ability to recruit and ‘make deals’ with top affiliate partners.
Strong negotiation skills, and be outgoing and willing to take initiative finding new business.
Experience evaluating creative messages, analyzing results and optimizing campaigns.
Excellent verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills.
Retail experience with search engine, online advertising, and direct marketing.
