Back-end Node.js Developer (offline)

Project Details/About the project:
Our client is an AI company in the area of IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) - we aim to make the IVF process more successful, easy and quick by using AI products we build - during the IVF process. At first - we are focusing on the embryo selection stage - we predict the success rate of each embryo and which one is the best to transfer back to the patient.
Currently we have an On-premise simple product that does the above with a working AI model. We are now building the SaaS product, enriching the AI model etc.

Technologies we use:
Server side: Nodejs (TypeScript), NestJs (a nodejs intelligent framework), Kubernetes, GCP, terraforms, Linux, Rest API, Open API, Git, Python
Client side: VueJs, webpack
Unit testing: Jest

Development environment:
Intellij for nodejs, pycharm for python.
Bitbucket for git.
Trello for task management
We'll start using Jira soon
Confluence for documentation

Development process:
We aim to work agile - but still small yet - so it's more fluid, we'll move to 2 week sprints shortly
We have a plan to the MVP and we are working according to that
dailys
1:1 weekly meetings
design discussions etc.

Required Professional Knowledge and Skills:
3+ years of backend and web development experience, out of them at least 2 years with NodeJs.
Object Oriented Development

Will be as a plus:
NestJs
Developing in GCP or any other cloud
Experience in AI products
Familiarity of frontend technologies as Angular and React
Docker and Kubernetes experience

Personal Qualities We Are Looking For:
Great communication skills
Good written and verbal English
Experience working remotely with companies abroad - Israeli companies is an advantage
For one of them - previous management experience and a will to work as a manager

Team Structure:
Currently we are 7 in the R&D - 3 back-end developers, one full stack, one UI developer, one data manager (not a developer).
Besides that there is a data team that includes the CTO and an additional data scientist.


Vacation and Sick Days:
Vacations- 20 working days
Sick Days -10 working days

Working hours:
According to Ukraine policy (8 or 9 hours), sense of urgency when needed

Interview Stages and who is participating:
First interview - introduction with VP R&D (up to an hour)
Development home assignment - an assignment of several hours
Second interview - VP R&D - go over the home assignment (up to half an hour)
Third interview - with CEO (up to an hour)
