Test Engineer (IoT project) (offline)

The leading European heating technology company that develops, manufactures and markets a wide range of eco-friendly, energy-efficient solutions for indoor climate comfort in all types of property, plus components and solutions for intelligent heating and control in industry and infrastructure.


PROJECT
We are developing world-class solutions in sustainable energy that help achieve the best concept for any type of property, whether it is an apartment block, an industrial building, a hotel, or a country house.
Technology stack: С, CAN, FreeRTOS, Cortex M0, SPI, I2C, MQTT, RS485, MODBUS/ZigBee, Linux Kernel.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze and clarify requirements
Plan and estimate testing activities
Create test documentation (test cases, checklist)
Perform manual Functional, Regression and Smoke testing (Embedded)
Report issues, monitor reported issues, and verify when they are resolved
Effectively collaborate with team members to achieve the best results
Effectively collaborate with customer-side PO to deliver full business value
Hold regular and clear status and progress reporting


REQUIREMENTS
At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance
Experience and deep awareness in functional testing (test design techniques, change impact analysis, etc.)
Experience in manual functional testing (experience in Embedded devices with emulator testing as plus)
Good communication and reporting skills
Experience in task management and tracking tools (Atlassian Jira and Confluence)
Experience with User Story product requirements format (e.g. user stories written by BA
Basic estimation skills
At least Intermediate level of spoken and written English

Experience in web back end development
Exposure to PaaS
